Le Premier ministre, M. Aïmen Benabderrahmane, a procédé jeudi au Centre international de conférences (Abdellatif Rahal), à Alger, à l’ouverture des travaux du forum sur la sécurité alimentaire en blé dur, qui se tient sous le haut patronage du Président de la République, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Juste avant l’ouverture de ce forum, organisé par le Conseil du renouveau économique algérien (CREA), M. Benabderrahmane a visité les stands d’une exposition organisé en margé de la rencontre, pour présenter les grandes capacités de l’Algérie en matière de culture du blé dur et de sécurité alimentaire.
Les participants à cette rencontre, qui s’est ouverte en présence M. Abdelaziz Khellaf, Directeur de Cabinet à la Présidence de la République, et de membres du gouvernement, aborderont plusieurs thématiques dont les mécanismes à mettre en place en Algérie pour atteindre l’autosuffisance en blé dur, ainsi que la mondialisation et la sécurité alimentaire.
Il s’agit également, lors de ce forum d’une journée, d’examiner le développement d’une culture saharienne du blé dur qui soit performante et durable.
Deux ateliers sont également au programme durant lesquels il sera question de la sécurité alimentaire et de l’agriculture en zones sahariennes.
A l’issue des travaux de ce forum, les participants formuleront une série de recommandations.
