Trente-huit (38) personnes ont trouvé la mort et 1634 autres ont été blessées dans 1386 accidents de la circulation survenus durant la période du 7 au 13 mai 2023, à travers plusieurs régions du pays, indique mardi un bilan hebdomadaire de la Protection civile.
Le bilan le plus lourd a été enregistré dans la wilaya de Naâma où 5 personnes sont décédées et 12 autres ont été blessées dans 8 accidents de la circulation, précise la même source.
Par ailleurs, les équipes de la Protection civile ont effectué 1449 interventions pour l’extinction de 1030 incendies, urbains, industriels et autres, dont les plus importants ont été enregistrés dans les wilayas d’Alger (122 incendies), Chlef (50) et Blida (49).
Durant la même période, les unités de la Protection civile ont effectué 6760 interventions pour le sauvetage de 436 personnes en situation de danger, ainsi que l’exécution de 5702 opérations de diverses assistances.
