De même qu’il lui est recommandé d’éviter les endroits confinés, de baisser ou d’éteindre les lumières électriques et de se déplacer. En cas de nécessité, il est conseillé de le faire ” tôt le matin ou tard le soir”, en particulier dans les wilayas intérieures, tout en restant à l’ombre dans la mesure du possible.
Pour ceux qui doivent sortir, il leur est aussi recommandé de porter un chapeau, des vêtements légers (coton) et amples, de préférence de couleur claire.
Les activités extérieures nécessitant des dépenses d’énergie trop importantes (sports, jardinage, bricolage), sont également à éviter, tout autant que les baignades dans des réserves d’eau (barrage, retenue collinaire, mare d’eau et bassin d’eau) ainsi que dans les plages interdites à cela.
Les consignes en question préconisent, en outre, d’aider les personnes dépendantes (nourrissons et enfants, personnes âgées, malades) en leur proposant régulièrement de l’eau.
Aux conducteurs n’ayant pas l’air conditionné dans leur véhicule, il est recommandé d’éviter les longs trajets au cours de la journée et de les programmer “en soirée ou la nuit”. De même que de rester dans les endroits frais et à l’ombre en prenant le soin de ne pas laisser les enfants seuls à l’intérieur d’un véhicule.

Enfin, un numéro vert (1021) et un autre d’urgence (14) est mis par la Direction générale de la Protection civile à la disposition des citoyens appelés à préciser, si nécessaire, l’adresse exacte et la nature de l’accident pour une prise en charge rapide et efficace.
