Le vieux T’kout a été sacré mercredi meilleur dechra de la wilaya de Batna au terme de la première édition du concours lancé en février passé par la direction locale du tourisme et de l’artisanat.
Le premier prix de ce concours assorti d’une prime de 1 million DA a été remis au président de l’APC de T’kout (95 km au Sud-est de Batna) au cours d’une cérémonie tenue dans le cadre de la célébration du 61ème anniversaire de la fête de l’Indépendance et de la Jeunesse au musée du moudjahid en présence des autorités locales et de moudjahidine.
L’objectif de cette initiative organisée en coordination avec les directions de la culture, des moudjahidine et des affaires religieuses est la sauvegarde des vieux bâtis des anciens villages de la wilaya et leur valorisation ainsi que les traditions, jeux sociaux et plats traditionnels, a indiqué le directeur du tourisme et de l’artisanat, Noureddine Bounafaâ.
Il s’agit également de la promotion de ces vieux villages à l’architecture authentique en tant que destination touristique ainsi que de la formule de l’hébergement chez l’habitant dont la première expérience a été lancée au vieux village de Menaâ en septembre 2021, a-t-il noté.
Quinze (15) vieux villages ont participé à ce concours et ont été départagé en fonction de 39 critères, a assuré Dr. Djemaa Barou de l’institut de l’architecture et de l’urbanisme de université Batna-1 présidente du comité du concours.
Les membres du comité ont notamment recommandé au terme de leurs visites aux divers sites de procéder au revêtement des routes de ces villages y conduisant et de soutenir les associations intéressées par la promotion du patrimoine.
Le vieux T’kout se distingue particulièrement par deux vieilles mosquées celle de Sidi Aïssa datant de plus de 6 siècle et celle de Sidi Abdeslam bâtie depuis quatre siècle.
Un film documentaire sur la promotion du tourisme local réalisé par des jeunes universitaires a été projeté à l’occasion.
