Le ministre de l’Intérieur, des Collectivités locales et de l’Aménagement du territoire, M. Brahim Merad prend part, dimanche à Nairobi (Kenya), en qualité de représentant du Président de la République, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aux travaux de la 5e session de la réunion de coordination semestrielle entre l’Union africaine (UA), les communautés économiques régionales et les Mécanismes régionaux, indique un communiqué du ministère.
A son arrivée à l’aéroport international de Nairobi, M. Merad a été accueilli par les autorités kenyanes et les représentants de la Commission de l’UA, lit-on dans le communiqué.
Le ministre réaffirmera à cette réunion “l’attachement de l’Algérie à une véritable intégration politique et économique dans le continent africain” et transmettra également “l’engagement de Monsieur le Président de la République à contribuer à la réunion des conditions favorables à la mise en Å“uvre de l’agenda de développement de 2063 dont la concrétisation réelle de la Zone de libre-échange continentale africaine (ZLECAf) et la libéralisation de son économie”, conclut le communiqué.
