Chargé par le président de la République, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, le ministre des Affaires étrangères et de la Communauté nationale à l’étranger, Ahmed Attaf, entame à partir de mardi une visite de travail de deux jours à Washington (Etats-Unis), indique un communiqué du ministère.
Cette visite qui intervient à l’invitation reçue par le ministre Ahmed Attaf de son homologue américain, Antony Blinken, s’inscrit dans le cadre “des efforts visant le renforcement de la coopération économique et l’intensification du dialogue politique entre l’Algérie et les Etats-Unis, au mieux des aspirations des deux parties à construire un partenariat stratégique contribuant à honorer leur engagement commun à diffuser la sécurité et la stabilité aux niveaux régional et international”, précise le ministère dans son communiqué.
Lors de sa visite, M. Attaf rencontrera le Secrétaire d’Etat américain Antony Blinken ainsi que de hauts responsables du Département d’Etat américain et du Conseil de sécurité nationale, ajoute le communiqué.
Le ministre aura également des rencontres avec des opérateurs économiques américains ainsi que des représentants de la communauté nationale établie aux Etats-Unis, conclut le communiqué
