Deux terroristes ont été abattus, lors d’une opération de fouille et de ratissage menée par un détachement de l’Armée nationale populaire (ANP) dans la wilaya de Khenchela, indique lundi le ministère de la Défense nationale (MDN) dans un communiqué.
“Dans le cadre de la lutte antiterroriste et lors d’une opération de fouille et de ratissage au niveau du territoire de compétence du secteur militaire de Khenchela, en 5ème Région militaire, un détachement de l’ANP a abattu, hier 7 juillet 2024, deux (2) terroristes”, précise la même source.
“L’identité de l’un des deux terroristes a été déterminée. Il s’agit du terroriste Boughrara Mourad qui avait rallié les groupes terroristes en 2010, alors que l’identification du 2ème terroriste est toujours en cours”, note le communiqué.
Cette opération, qui a également permis la récupération de deux (2) pistolets mitrailleurs de type Kalachnikov et une quantité de munitions et divers objets, “confirme, une fois encore, la vigilance et la détermination des unités de l’ANP à traquer ces criminels à travers l’ensemble du territoire national jusqu’à leur éradication totale”, conclut la même source.
