Le juge d’instruction près le tribunal de Constantine a ordonné, ce mercredi, le placement en détention provisoire d’un individu suspecté d’enlèvement suivi de meurtre sur la personne de la jeune Marwa Boughachiche, disparue le 22 mai dernier. Le suspect, identifié par les initiales D.S., est actuellement poursuivi dans le cadre d’une enquête judiciaire ouverte pour enlèvement d’enfant avec incitation ayant entraîné la mort, ainsi que pour assassinat.
Dans un communiqué rendu public par le procureur de la République près le tribunal de Constantine, il est précisé que l’affaire a connu une avancée significative après la découverte du corps de l’enfant dans la forêt de Djebel Ouahch, quelques jours après sa disparition. L’identité de la victime a été confirmée par des analyses ADN, qui ont établi une correspondance formelle avec l’empreinte génétique de ses parents.
Les investigations menées par les services de la police judiciaire ont rapidement permis de déterminer qu’il s’agissait d’un crime d’enlèvement suivi de meurtre, et ont abouti à l’arrestation du suspect D.S. Ce dernier a été présenté le 2 juillet 2025 devant le parquet, dans le cadre de l’ouverture d’une enquête judiciaire préliminaire.
Le juge d’instruction, après avoir auditionné les parents de la victime, plusieurs témoins et le suspect lui-même, a décidé de son placement en détention provisoire. L’instruction judiciaire reste ouverte et se poursuit afin de faire toute la lumière sur les circonstances exactes de ce crime particulièrement grave.
