 Plus de 20.000 alevins de tilapia rouge ont été ensemencés au niveau de l’Unité agricole de production (UAP) de Oued Tlélat (Oran), a-t-on appris, jeudi, auprès de la direction locale de la Pêche et de l’aquaculture.
Cette opération s’inscrit dans le cadre de la première phase du programme d’ensemencement aquacole pour l’année 2025, qui vise l’introduction de 200.000 alevins de cette espèce de poisson, connue pour son haut rendement de production et sa capacité à s’adapter à l’environnement local, a-t-on précisé de même source.
Menée en coordination entre la direction de la Pêche et de l’aquaculture de la wilaya d’Oran et l’UAP de Oued Tlélat, l’opération s’est déroulée dans des conditions techniques conformes aux normes de qualité, a-t-on encore noté, ajoutant que les prochaines phases du programme se poursuivront de manière régulière afin d’atteindre les objectifs fixés d’ici la fin de l’année.
Les autorités publiques, visent à travers ce programme, à promouvoir et à étendre l’activité de l’aquaculture, notamment dans les wilayas disposant de conditions naturelles favorables, contribuant ainsi à diversifier les sources de production halieutique et à renforcer l’approvisionnement local en produits de la mer.
