Le Bureau de coordination des Affaires humanitaires des Nations unies (OCHA) et le Comité international de la Croix-Rouge (CICR) ont réclamé mardi l’ouverture de tous les points de passage de la bande de Ghaza pour permettre d’acheminer davantage d’aide humanitaire, suite à l’entrée en vigueur du cessez-le-feu vendredi.
“A ma connaissance, tous les points de passage de Ghaza ne sont pas ouverts à l’aide humanitaire. C’est le principal problème actuellement, et c’est ce que les humanitaires, y compris le CICR, ont réclamé au cours de ces dernières heures”, a déclaré un porte-parole du CICR, Christian Cardon, lors d’un point de presse à Genève.
Cette ouverture doit être effective “de toute urgence”, a-t-il insisté.
“Nous demandons que les tous points de passage soient ouverts”, a insisté à ses côtés un porte-parole de l’OCHA, Jens Laerke.
Il a également demandé que les points de passage qui avaient été détruits par la guerre soient réparés et ouverts, suite au cessez-le-feu en vigueur depuis vendredi.
“Nous disposons dans la région de 190.000 tonnes prêtes à être envoyées”, a relevé M. Laerke.
