La session du comité centrale du FLN se tient aujourd’hui au Centre International des Conférence Abdelatif Rahal. Au menu du CC, l’élection d’un nouveau secrétaire général qui succédera à Djamel Ould Abbas.
Après les scènes de chaos enregistrées lors de la dernières session du CC, les responsables du vieux parti ont décidé d’interdire l’accès à la presse. Les débats se dérouleront, donc, à huis clos.
Plusieurs candidats sont en lice pour succéder à Djamel Ould Abbas destitué la semaine dernière. Djamel Benhamouda, Mohamed Djemi ainsi que l’ancien président de l’assemblée populaire nationale, Said Bouhadja sont en course pour prendre la tête du FLN.
