ALGÉRIE/ ECONOMIE : Alimentation: poursuite de la baisse des importations les 4 premiers mois de 2019
Les importations de l’Algérie de produits alimentaires ont poursuivi leur baisse de plus de -11% durant les quatre premiers mois de 2019, selon la Direction des Etudes et de la Prospective des Douanes , citée mercredi par l’APS
Globalement, la facture d’importation des produits alimentaires a atteint près de 2,82 milliards de dollars US sur les quatre premiers mois de l’année en cours, contre près de 3,18 milliards de dollars durant la même période de l’année écoulée, soit une baisse de près de 361 millions de dollars (-11,35%), précise la Direction des Etudes et de la Prospectives des Douanes (DEPD).
Cette baisse s’explique, essentiellement, par une diminution des importations des céréales, lait et produits laitiers, des sucres, des tourteaux de soja et les légumes secs.
Représentant près de 33% de la structure des importations alimentaires, les céréales, semoule et farine ont atteint 921,33 millions usd, contre 1,163 md usd en 2018, soit une de baisse de 20,81%.
Les importations des produits laitiers ont également reculé à 493,48 millions usd, contre 564,56 millions usd, en baisse également de près de 12,6%.
