ALGÉRIE/ POLITIQUE : Sit-in ce mercredi devant la Maison du Peuple : Des milliers de syndicalistes UGTA réclament la tête de Sidi Saïd
Des milliers de travailleurs se sont retrouvés encore ce matin devant le siège de l’UGTA pour réclamer le départ de Madjid Sidi Saïd, l’actuel sectaire général.
Un dispositif policier est déployé devant la maison du Peuple et tout au long du boulevard, jusqu’à la place du 1er mai pour éviter tout débordement des travailleurs en colère.
Issus de plusieurs fédérations et d’unions locales du centre du pays, ces syndicalistes exigent « le départ immédiat de Sidi Said », tout en déniant à la direction actuelle le droit d’organiser un congrès extraordinaire.
« Sidi Said Dégage !», « Sidi Said traitre de la cause des travailleurs », ” Vous n’échapperez pas à la Justice” ont lancé les manifestants interdits d’accès à l’enceinte de la maison du peuple protégée par un dense cordon policier.
« Sidi Said fait partie des figures du système Bouteflika, il doit rendre des comptes, comme Ouyahia, Ali Haddad, Tahkout, il a profité de son poste pour faire des affaires, et placer des personnes de son entourage dans des postes en Algérie et à l’étranger », raconte un syndicaliste de la zone industrielle de Rouiba.
Ce nouveau rassemblement survient alors que la Direction de l’UGTA s’attelle à la préparation du Congrès extraordinaire qui doit se tenir les 21 et 22 juin, en application de la décision de la dernière CEN qui s’est réunie le 27 avril aux Andalouses à Oran.
Sidi Said, dont le mandat doit s’achever en janvier 2020 avait annonçait qu’il ne briguerait pas un nouveau mandat, sachant bien que sa tête est mise à prix comme toutes les figures du “Bouteflikisme”. Mais il veut néanmoins s’épargner une sortie humiliante en remettant le pouvoir à son successeur.
Pour rappel, certaines fédérations, certes minoritaires, sont contre l’organisation de ce congrès extraordinaire qui se tient sous l’égide de la CEN et proposent le limogeage de la direction actuelle et son remplacement par un directoire qui doit préparer un congrès de « refondation », en dehors des cadres actuels.
