La plus haute tour du monde, “Burdj Khalifa” de Dubaï, s’est illuminée hier soir vendredi 5 juillet 2019 à 20h30, aux couleurs de l’emblème national en hommage au jour de l’indépendance de l’Algérie.
Cette initiative des autorités Emiraties en collaboration avec notre ambassade s’est voulue comme un symbole de l’amitié entre les deux pays et les deux peuples.
La même initiative sera renouvelée le 1er novembre 2019 à l’occasion de l’anniversaire du déclenchement de la lutte armée pour le recouvrement de l’indépendance.
La tour de Burj Khalifa de Dubaï, un gratte-ciel faisant 829,8 mètres de haut, est la plus haute tour du monde.
Construite au cœur d’un nouveau quartier Downtown Burj Khalifa, elle a été inaugurée en janvier 2010. Ce gratte-ciel, visible à 95 km à la ronde, comporte 160 étages et peut accueillir jusqu’à 35 000 personnes.
