ALGÉRIE/ POLITIQUE : Selon l’étude de institut américain Brooking : «Les Algériens souhaitent l’avènement d’un pouvoir civil»
Selon un sondage mené en Algérie par le très sérieux institut américain Brooking, l’écrasante majorité des Algériens interrogés se disent favorables au hirak et souhaitent l’avènement d’un pouvoir civil.
Selon les résultats de ce sondage mené du 1er avril au 1er juillet 2019, qui a touché 9 000 Algériens vivant en Algérie, publié par le site Middle East Eye, les personnes questionnées se disent pour la plupart optimistes quant à «l’aboutissement du soulèvement populaire à une solution pacifique et démocratique pour le pays». Une majorité de personnes interrogées souhaite, par ailleurs, voir le chef d’état-major de l’ANP quitter la vie politique.
Concernant les objectifs du soulèvement, 82% des personnes sondées qui manifestent et 68% de celles qui ne manifestent pas estiment qu’il faut un «changement total» du système. Le taux de la majorité des personnes interrogées qui se disent optimistes quant à l’aboutissement du soulèvement populaire à un changement démocratique et pacifique est très élevé parmi toutes les personnes questionnées : 89% de manifestants pensent que cela se terminera en démocratie, ainsi que 79% de non-manifestants. Mais 20% de manifestants pensent que le soulèvement populaire finira en coup d’Etat militaire.
Sur un autre plan, le sondage montre que les partis islamistes sont en déclin en Algérie, mais cela ne profite pas automatiquement aux partis progressistes. Les résultats obtenus auprès des échantillons ciblés indiquent que, dans des élections législatives, le FIS n’obtiendrait pas plus de 3% des voix des personnes interrogées, le FLN 3%, le FFS 2%, le RCD 1%.
Autre donnée mise en relief par le sondage : la quasi-totalité des personnes questionnées estiment que le futur Président doit être un civil.
