Le Premier ministre, Abdelaziz Djerad a affirmé samedi, l’engagement du gouvernement à soutenir les innovateurs, indispensables à l’édification d’une économie moderne dans le pays.
“Nous avons décidé, dans le gouvernement, de soutenir les innovateurs, où ” ils se trouvent”, a souligné M. Djerad dans une allocution adressée, par technique de visioconférence, aux participants à la conférence régionale sur “les startups dans l’ouest du pays (ORAN DISRUPT 2021)”, notant que l’organisation de la série de conférences régionales sur les Startups “démontre notre profonde conviction de l’existence de talents algériens dans toutes les régions et dans chaque wilaya du pays”.
“Cette rencontre vient confirmer une fois de plus que le gouvernement accorde toute son attention aux entreprises émergentes”, a-t-il dit, avant d’ajouter: “nous estimons que l’innovation est notre seule issue pour bâtir une économie moderne basée sur les capacités scientifiques de nos jeunes”.
A cet égard, le Premier ministre a relevé que “notre pays à besoin aujourd’hui d’entreprises qui créent de la richesse et attirent les compétences diplômées de l’Université algérienne. Il a également besoin de ses compétences et de l’innovation, car c’est le seul moteur pour le développement économique dans toutes les régions du monde”.
M. Djerad a tenu à rappeler au passage que le gouvernement “avait mis en place une feuille de route claire pour passer rapidement à une économie basée sur la connaissance, dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre du programme du Président de la République”, soulignant la nécessité d’intensifier les efforts et d’impliquer tous les acteurs, basés en Algérie ou à l’étranger, pour atteindre cet objectif.
Dans le même sillage, il a noté que l’édifice d’une nouvelle Algérie n’aura lieu qu’avec la participation de tous, soulignant “qu’il n’y a pas de place dans l’économie mondiale d’aujourd’hui pour les pays qui n’innovent pas”.
Le premier responsable de l’exécutif a évoqué, les efforts du gouvernement à cet égard, traduits par la mise en place d’un cadre réglementaire en faveur des startups, notamment par la création d’un fonds d’investissement garantissant un financement fluide des projets innovants, outre les mesures fiscales encourageantes, initiées dans le cadre de la nouvelle loi de finances 2021.
Evoquant le premier accélérateur des start-up qui avait déjà été lancé, le Premier ministre a annoncé la création prochaine d’annexes dans toutes les régions du pays, dans le but de “soutenir l’écosystème de l’innovation en Algérie”.
M. Djerad a également exprimé l’espoir que les rencontres sur les startups permettent l’implication du plus grand nombre d’universités, estimant que l’université est “un berceau d’idées innovantes et une source de compétences scientifiques et technologiques, et contribue sans aucun doute à l’émergence d’une nouvelle génération d’entrepreneurs, de professeurs, d’ingénieurs et de chercheurs”.
A cet égard, il a relevé que “notre économie a aujourd’hui besoin d’entreprises qui apportent une réelle valeur ajoutée, et dépendent de la recherche et du développement pour fournir des services et des produits innovants”.
Prennent part à la conférence régionale, initiée par le ministère délégué auprès du Premier ministère, chargé de l’économie, son ministre délégué, Yacine El Mahdi Walid, le ministre de l’enseignement supérieur, Abdelbaki Benziane, le ministre de l’Enérgie et des mines, Mohamed Arkab et le ministre de la poste et des télécommunications, ainsi que des walis de la république des wilayas de l’ouest du pays.
Des experts algériens et internationaux participent à l’événement, dont les débats sont axés sur technologies liées aux finances et aux assurances, “cloud computing”, le transport et les services logistiques.
La conférence verra l’annonce des lauréats du concours des projets innovants en phase finale qui seront évalués par une commission composée d’experts dans ces domaines.
En marge de cette conférence régionale, une exposition sera organisée sur les startups, activant dans l’ouest du pays. Des conférences régionales similaires, abordant différentes thématiques, seront organisées à Ghardaïa, Constantine, pour être clôturées, le mois d’octobre prochain, par une conférence nationale à Alger.
