Le président tunisien Kaïs Saïed a déclaré mercredi qu’il avait décidé de dissoudre le Parlement, suspendu depuis l’été dernier mais dont les élus ont organisé dans la journée une session virtuelle pour rejeter des mesures du chef de l’Etat dénoncées comme un octroi quasi-exclusif du pouvoir.
Cette annonce, effectuée à la télévision publique, est survenue après que le ministre de la Justice a ordonné l’ouverture d’une enquête contre des membres du Parlement, accusant ceux-ci de “conspirer contre la sécurité de l’Etat”.
