Les services de la Gendarmerie nationale ont démantelé un réseau criminel organisé à ramification internationale, spécialisé dans la contrebande et le trafic illicite de drogue, et procédé à la saisie de plus de 100 kg de kif traité et à l’arrestation de 15 individus, indique jeudi un communiqué des mêmes services.
L’affaire, traitée par le service compétent de la Direction centrale opérationnelle de lutte contre le crime organisé de la Gendarmerie
nationale, s’est soldée par l’arrestation de 15 individus, dont trois (3) de nationalités étrangères”, précise le communiqué, faisant état de “l’identification de deux (2) autres individus, dont un baron de la drogue de nationalité étrangère”.
L’opération s’est également soldée par “la saisie de 107,6 kg de kif traité, de 21 véhicules de tourisme, de quatre (4) motos, d’une somme d’argent estimée à 9.315.000 DA, de bijoux en or d’une valeur de 60.000 DA et de quatre (4) compteuses de billets”, selon la même source.
Au terme des procédures légales, les mis en cause ont été déférés devant le procureur de la République près le tribunal d’Aïn Sefra dans la wilaya de Naâma, conclut le communiqué.
