Le Président de la République, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, a procédé, jeudi au Centre international des conférences (CIC) “Abdelatif Rahal” (Alger), à l’ouverture des travaux de la 4e édition de la Foire commerciale intra-africaine (IATF 2025).
La cérémonie d’ouverture officielle s’est déroulée en présence de Chefs d’Etat et de chefs de délégations participants à cet événement, de hauts responsables de l’Etat et de membres du gouvernement.
Le programme de la première journée, au niveau du “CIC”, prévoit l’organisation de la “Journée de l’Algérie” (Algeria Day) par l’Agence algérienne de promotion de l’investissement (AAPI). Cet évènement comprendra des sessions consacrées à la présentation des réformes et des opportunités d’investissement disponibles en Algérie, ainsi qu’à la mise en avant de la place du pays dans les chaînes de valeur régionales et mondiales.
Alger abrite du 4 au 10 septembre cette 4e édition de l’IATF, placée sous le slogan “Passerelle vers de nouvelles opportunités”, avec la participation de délégations représentant 140 pays et plus de 2.000 entreprises d’Afriques et d’ailleurs, dont près de 200 entreprises algériennes.
Quelque 35.000 visiteurs professionnels sont également attendus à cette édition, qui devrait déboucher sur la conclusion d’accords commerciaux et d’investissement d’une valeur de 44 milliards de dollars.
Le programme de l’évènements, organisée par l’Algérie, la Banque africaine d’import-export (Afreximbank), initiatrice de cette foire, la Commission de l’Union africaine et le secrétariat de la Zone de libre-échange continentale africaine (ZLECAf), prévoit plusieurs thématiques et activités.
