La ville de Mostaganem a été confrontée durant ces deux jours de l’Aïd El Adha , à un sérieux problème d’insalubrité,accentué par la grève illimitée des éboueurs de l’EPIC Mosta-Propre , entraînant des conséquences désastreuses, comme témoignent les tas d’ordures qui débordent dans pratiquement tous les quartiers et cités , y compris les restes de moutons sacrifiés. Les habitants de la ville de Mostaganem s’alarment de la situation et demandent aux autorités locales de réagir immédiatement avant qu’une épidémie ne se propage. Tout simplement, la ville étouffe sous le poids des déchets ménagers qui dégagent des odeurs nauséabondes, présentant ainsi de réels risques sanitaires sur la population. Cette situation très déplorable s’est accentuée le 2ème jour de l’Aïd El Adha, où des citoyens peu soucieux des normes d’hygiène et de salubrité ont jeté anarchiquement leurs déchets et les restes de moutons sacrifiés, décuplant ainsi les odeurs pestilentielles qui émanaient déjà des décharges qui grossissent de jour en jour. Notons, que les éboueurs sont entrés en grève illimitée la veille de l’Aïd El Adha, pour exiger l’obtention de la prime de l’Aïd et dénoncer les conditions dans lesquelles ils travaillent, a indiqué hier l’un des protestataires. Les différentes tentatives entreprises pour parvenir à un terrain d’entente avec les responsables locaux n’ont pas abouti, selon notre interlocuteur. Les promesses faites pour résoudre nos problèmes sociaux professionnels sont restées lettre morte. Hier, les grévistes ont immobilisé leurs camions-poubelles tout au long de l’artère qui donne sur leur parc. Ce mouvement de grève était très attendu vu la détérioration des conditions de travail, souligne-t-on, certains attendent toujours le versement de leurs salaires. Face à la détérioration de leurs conditions de travail, les grévistes ont interpellé hier les autorités locales afin de trouver une solution à cette situation. Toutefois, le problème risque de persister si aucune solution n’est trouvée pour prendre en charge les doléances des protestataires.
