Le ministre de la Communication, Mohamed Meziane, présidera ce jeudi à Oran le lancement officiel des rencontres régionales dédiées aux journalistes, professionnels des médias et acteurs du secteur de la communication, a annoncé mardi un communiqué du ministère.
Organisée sous le signe de l’écoute, de l’échange et de la concertation, cette première rencontre vise à ouvrir un espace de dialogue franc et direct avec les membres de la famille de la presse nationale. Elle permettra de débattre des défis majeurs auxquels sont confrontés les professionnels des médias, notamment en matière de régulation, de transformation numérique, de formation continue et de liberté d’expression.
Il s’agit de la première initiative de ce type, qui marque un tournant dans la démarche de concertation du ministère. Le programme prévoit d’autres rencontres régionales dans l’Est, le Sud et le Centre du pays, afin d’élargir la participation à l’ensemble des acteurs nationaux du paysage médiatique et de prendre en compte les spécificités régionales et locales.
Ces échanges permettront également de recueillir les propositions des professionnels pour une réforme profonde et inclusive du secteur, en lien avec les évolutions technologiques et les attentes des citoyens en matière d’information. Le ministère souhaite ainsi élaborer une feuille de route adaptée aux réalités du terrain, en intégrant les préoccupations des journalistes, des éditeurs, des régulateurs et des communicants.
