La fête traditionnelle de la S’beiba a été officiellement lancée ce mercredi à Djanet, en présence de nombreuses troupes artistiques venues de plusieurs wilayas du pays, ainsi que de délégations culturelles libyennes.
Placée cette année sous le thème « S’beiba, une histoire à raconter, une œuvre éternelle », cette édition met à l’honneur la richesse et la longévité de cette tradition classée patrimoine immatériel de l’Humanité par l’UNESCO en 2014. Des troupes venues de Timimoun, Béchar, Ouargla, In-Salah et de la Libye participent à cette manifestation, illustrant la profondeur des liens culturels entre les peuples de la région, a souligné le commissaire du festival, Nacer Bekkar, lors de la cérémonie d’ouverture.
Des universitaires des centres de recherche de Tamanrasset et d’Alger prennent également part à l’événement, apportant un éclairage scientifique sur les racines et la symbolique de la S’beiba, a précisé M. Bekkar.
Le wali de Djanet, M’hamed Moumène, a déclaré que cette fête dépasse le cadre folklorique pour incarner l’âme du patrimoine culturel algérien, une tradition séculaire qui inspire fierté et cohésion. Il a salué l’implication des associations locales et des comités de quartiers, notamment ceux des Ksour El-Mizane et Zelouaz, pour leur rôle déterminant dans la transmission de cet héritage.
La S’beiba est aussi un levier de développement culturel et touristique pour la wilaya, selon les autorités locales, qui assurent avoir mobilisé tous les moyens pour garantir le succès de cette édition, en coordination avec le commissariat du festival.
Pour Abdelkader Hefaoui, directeur de l’Office du parc culturel du Tassili N’Ajjer, cette fête annuelle est un symbole de paix et d’identité, mêlant traditions africaines, amazighes et arabes, et constituant un véritable creuset de la diversité culturelle nord-africaine.
Le programme prévoit ateliers, expositions, spectacles vivants, journées d’études, et sorties culturelles. Objectif : intégrer durablement ce patrimoine dans une démarche de développement culturel et touristique.
La célébration se poursuivra jusqu’à lundi prochain, avec des soirées artistiques, des expositions d’artisanat et des animations valorisant l’histoire et l’identité plurielle de la région.
