Une somme de 25.000 euros a été collectée pour la famille de Kamel Eddine Fekhar à la suite de l’opération lancée par une association domiciliée à Toulouse en France, a annoncé, le président du Collectif des mozabites d’Europe Abdallah Zekri.
L’argent a été versé sur le compte personnel d’un membre de l’association, Dahmane Kaïs, qui s’est engagé à le remettre à la veuve du militant décédé en détention. « Il y a des donateurs qui se manifestent encore et qui veulent aider mais les organisateurs ont préféré clôturer à 25.000 euros », a précisé M. Zekri.
Une page dédiée a été créée sur le réseau social Facebook pour réaliser la collecte. Les dons commençaient à 20 euros.
L’argent collecté devrait être remis au Collectif des Mozabites d’Europe qui se chargera de le remettre à la veuve, en effectuant un transfert légal par voie postale ou bancaire.

Par ailleurs, des associations de ressortissants algériens basées à Toulouse souhaitent entreprendre des démarches afin d’obtenir l’asile politique à la veuve et à ses enfants mineurs. Pour l’instant, elle n’a pas été tenue informée de ce projet qui nécessite son accord.
