La Commission d’organisation et de surveillance des opérations de Bourse (Cosob) a annoncé, dimanche dans un communiqué, la radiation de la banque “BNP Paribas El Djazair” de la liste des teneurs de comptes conservateurs de titres agréés, et ce à compter du 17 septembre courant.
“La Cosob informe l’ensemble des investisseurs en Bourse que la qualité de teneur de comptes conservateur de titres agréé a été retirée à BNP Paribas El Djazair, à la suite de sa demande”, est-il indiqué dans le communiqué.
La commission a fait savoir, dans ce cadre, que les avoirs des investisseurs détenteurs de comptes-titres ouverts auprès de la banque concernée, qui n’ont pas procédé à leur transfert vers d’autres teneurs de comptes conservateurs de titres, ont été transférés à Algérie Clearing, dépositaire central des titres.
Algérie Clearing est chargée ainsi d’assurer la gestion “temporaire” des avoirs restants, jusqu’à leur transfert définitif par leurs titulaires vers des teneurs de comptes conservateurs de titres en activité, selon la Cosob.
